Manufacturer –  Distributor – Independent Sales Rep 2014 Income Earned selling Multiple Products and Healthcare / Medical related Services (Mixed Bag) reporting earning the highest income in 2014 at $268,000 for those with over 20 years medical sales experience as an Independent.

Over  5,000 independent medical sales representatives, distributors and team leaders (managers) of independent rep groups participated in our 2014 Annual Income Earned Survey.  Respondents anonymously shared data regarding their average commission percentages, total commission income, their years of sales experience, type and number of products they represented including additional specific information of the manufacturers’ lines they carry and more.

Independent reps offering a diversity of products from medical capital equipment to medical disposables and the inclusion of healthcare related services reported the highest income earnings. A diversity of products may be obtained by aligning with multiple medical product manufacturers and healthcare related service providers or may be obtained through one manufacturer offering various services and multiple products. Independent reps with a diversity of products and over 20 years as an independent sales rep reported the highest income earnings.
