Overview
Copa Healthcare LLC is seeking experienced Independent Sales Professionals to represent our products as a 1099 contractor. The ideal candidates are results oriented, thrive on performance-based income and have a proven ability to generate new business and nurture client relationship
Key responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify, engage, and qualify potential clients through effective prospecting strategies and networking.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing sales.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the value of our products and services.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure client satisfaction and provide market feedback.
- Reporting: Track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance metrics as required.
Candidate profile and Call Points
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets as an independent sales representative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation techniques.
- A self-driven, entrepreneurial, and proactive approach to generating business.
- Knowledgeable in selling to medical providers (MD, DPM, DO, DPT) and active in the business-to-business requirements of elderly care, nursing home, retirement community sector and the medical providers that support them.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, health and wellness and the associated products and services. Ideally experience with active aging product segment and its relevant products.
Important contractor details
- Status: This is an independent contractor (1099) position. You will not be an employee of Copa Healthcare LLC.
- Schedule and Work Hours: The independent agent has full autonomy over their working hours, schedule, and sales methods.
- Taxes and Expenses: The agent is responsible for their own taxes, business expenses, and liability insurance.
- Compensation:
- Agent only - This is a commission-only role with no base salary or employee benefits.
- Sub-distribution – For agreed products a wholesale purchase price will be set for the product and terms of supply agreed with the sub-distributor.
- Support: Access to sales materials, product training, leads and marketing support will be provided.
- Required Documentation: All independent agents must provide a W-9 form before the start of the contract and complete the agent agreement.
